As well as our cottage in the Yorkshire Dales, we also own a coastal retreat in Staithes on the Yorkshire Riviera! One Beckside is a beautifully renovated and well equipped former fisherman’s cottage, with two ensuite bedrooms, lying in the heart of the historical coastal village of Staithes, tucked away on the Yorkshire Coast and within the North York Moors National Park..

Although relatively small, this delightful boutique property stretches over three floors and has been developed to an exceptional standard with everything you could wish for in a holiday cottage, from Smart TVS to Wi-Fi throughout.

The bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities, are on the top and bottom floors, whilst an open plan living area and well-equipped kitchen lie in the middle. Whilst there is very little parking in the old village, you can load and unload outside the cottage, before using our free parking permit for Bank Top Council Car Park

The light, airy living room provides all the mod cons and comfort for a relaxing evening at home. Curl up on one of the sofas in front of the 40 inch wall mounted Smart TV with integrated DVD, connect your devices to the high speed WIFI, or simply chill out with a good book by the state of the art flame effect fire. Dine in style with a glass of wine or enjoy a take away fish supper from the local chippy.

Despite its small size, the ergonomically designed modern kitchen includes more than ample facilities to cater for all your needs from a simple continental breakfast to a family feast. Pet friendly.

The deluxe, bijou master bedroom, with its opulent, antique brass, Victorian style bed and five star hotel bed linen is complimented by chic, modern stylish solid oak furniture, including double wardrobe, five drawer chest, two bed side tables and a dressing table with mirror over. The bedroom also has a SMART TV and USB sockets.

Next door, relax after a day on the beach or on the cliff tops in the spacious, contemporary modern bathroom with rainfall shower.

GROUND FLOOR: BEDROOMS AND SHOWER ROOM

ENCLOSED TWIN/DOUBLE BEDROOM WITH ENSUITE SHOWER

The ground floor accommodation is a real hidden gem. Self contained from the rest of the cottage, with it's own internal and external access, a tiny hallway, with modern shower room and toilet to the left, leads to a cosy bedroom which can switch between twin or kingsize beds.

As with the master bedroom, the bed linen and bedroom furniture are akin to what you what you would expect from a luxury hotel including TV and USB sockets. The understairs cupboard houses the freezer, automatic washing machine and ironing board.

OUTSIDE: ENCLOSED SUN TERRACE WITH SEATING

REFECTORY TABLE & SLEEPER BENCH SET - SEATING FOR FOUR

The small outside terrace provides a great place to enjoy al fresco dining with seating for four, a few drinks in the evening sun or a tranquil setting for perusing the Sunday papers.

There's also space under the large refectory table to store your boots, bucket and spades and fishing nets.

The terrace is fully enclosed for added privacy and to provide extra security for young ones and pets.
